Olympic gymnast Simone Biles shared what she was given on a plane after being mistaken for a child.

A Twitter user shared a screenshot of Biles’ post on her Instagram story of the interaction with a flight attendant.

The photo of Biles shows her expression of disbelief.

She captioned the photo, “Not the flight attendant trying to give me a coloring book when I board….. I said ‘no I’m good I’m 25.'”

The user reacted, saying, “I’m crying at the thought of a flight attendant giving simone biles the most decorated gymnast in history a coloring book because she is 4’8.”

The post came just days after Biles was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

President Joe Biden introduced the gymnast, saying, “Today, she adds to her medal count.”

He added, “I don’t know how you’re going to find room,” for another medal.

ESPN noted Biles is the most decorated U.S. gymnast in history with 32 Olympic and World Championship medals.

She is also the youngest person to ever receive the medal.

Additionally, the White House pointed out Biles is a “prominent advocate for athletes’ mental health and safety, children in the foster care system, and victims of sexual assault.”

In September 2021, Biles broke down while sharing her experience of being sexually abused by USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar.

“I don’t want another young gymnast, or Olympic athlete, or any individual to experience the horror that I and hundreds of others have endured before, during and continuing to this day in the wake of the Larry Nassar abuse,” Biles said.

She added, “We suffered and continue to suffer because no one at FBI, USAG or the USOPC did what was necessary to protect us.”

Biles continued, “We have been failed, and we deserve answers. Nassar is where he belongs, but those who enabled him deserve to be held accountable. If they are not, I am convinced that this will continue to happen to others across Olympic sports.”
